Slippery Rock University enrolls citizens from both Ukraine and Russia. As an institution that is committed to education and understanding, we encourage everyone to treat all members of our campus community with respect and kindness during this time of global tension.

The University understands that current events may cause significant stress and have adverse effects on the mental well-being for its students, faculty and staff. For those who are struggling, know that you are not alone. Students who have been affected by these events and need someone to talk with can contact the Counseling Center at 724.738.2034 or the Student Support Office at 724.738.2121 or by filling out a CARE Referral. For employees, the State System's Employee Assistance Program is available 24/7 by calling 800.692.7459.

Students from Ukraine and Russia, or other countries that have been impacted by recent events, should contact the Office for Global Engagement at 724.738.2057 with any concerns. Employees with questions and concerns should contact Human Resources at 724.738.2070.

As a caring community, please keep those on our campus who are impacted by the events in Ukraine in your thoughts and do what you can to provide comfort and support during these tense times.
