SRU’s RN to BSN program ranked one of the country’s best by College Consensus

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — Slippery Rock University's online RN to BSN program has been ranked among the top 25 programs in the country by College Consensus. SRU ranked No. 24 on the list of "Best Online RN to BSN Nursing Programs," which accounts for a combination of market reputation, educational quality and rewarding income.

College Consensus, a national college ranking and student review aggregator, used a scoring system based on four categories: affordability, reputation, return on investment and success.

SRU's RN to BSN program was one of the first nursing programs in the country to offer classes completely online, designed to meet the needs of registered nurses looking to build on their associate degree or diploma education and earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.

The majority of the students in the RN to BSN program are working in the field and complete their degrees at their preferred pace through eight-week sessions each semester.

SRU's nursing program offers classes taught by faculty with doctoral degrees and a curriculum focused on skills, such as teambuilding and communication, that are sought after by potential employers. The RN to BSN program is accredited by the Commission for Collegiate Nursing Education.
