There were two ceremonies Friday night at Slippery Rock University. First, the U.S. Army ROTC program hosted its commissioning ceremony at the Smith Student Center, as 11 cadets were commissioned as officers with the rank of second lieutenant. Then, SRU hosted its graduate studies commencement ceremony at Morrow Field House, as more than 450 graduate students received their degrees.
