A two-day celebration known as Slippery Rock University's 2019 Spring Commencement saw the conferring of more 1,300 baccalaureate and more than 300 master's degrees May 10-11 at Morrow Field House. Additionally, 57 doctoral candidates were hooded at the May 10 graduate student commencement. The event put a bow on years of hard work, determination - and probably more than a few tears for some - as students crossed the commencement stage, shook hands with SRU President Bill Behre and received their diplomas.
