Slippery Rock University hosted the 2019 Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League Individual Championship Meet May 16 at the William Lennox Track at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium. The top 24 Class AAA and top 16 Class AA athletes in each event were entered into the meet based on times/distances achieved throughout the 2018-2019 season. The WPIAL is comprised of school districts from 10 counties, including: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Washington and Westmoreland.
