Slippery Rock University hosted a campus "Welcome to SRU" potluck for President William Behre Aug. 13 on the lawn adjacent to North Hall. The event, which featured a bevy of shared dishes provided by the gathered faculty, staff and administrators, also provided a chance for colleagues to share stories and laughter prior to the arrival of the fall semester. As part of the festivities, eight employees won an opportunity to be a millionaire. We're happy to report the Pennsylvania Millionaire Lottery Tickets produced six cash winners. Unfortunately, no millionaires. Back to work. The first day of classes at SRU is Aug. 27.
