More than 80 employers were at Slippery Rock University's Smith Student Center Ballroom Oct. 13 to recruit candidates for jobs and internships as part of the annual Safety Management Career and Internship Expo. Organized by SRU's Office of Career Education and Development, the expo provided an opportunity for 200 SRU students and alumni to meet and interview with employers who hire safety professionals, such as manufacturers, retailers, workers' compensation insurers, and construction, transportation and warehousing companies.
