SRSGA to sponsor two buses to football’s elite-eight tournament game

The Slippery Rock Student Government Association is sponsoring two student fan buses for the NCAA elite-eight football playoff game at Notre Dame College Dec. 1. The trip, which includes a game ticket, is limited to the first 110 current SRU students that sign up online.

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - The Slippery Rock Student Government Association will sponsor two student fan buses to transport current Slippery Rock University students to The Rock's Dec. 10 NCAA Division II elite-eight playoff game at Notre Dame College in South Euclid, Ohio.

Currently enrolled SRU students can reserve a seat on a bus by logging onto CORE and searching "fan bus." There are 110 seats available. They will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The SGA will cover the cost of admission and transportation for students who take part in the excursion. Food or other purchases at the game will be the responsibility of each individual.

The tentative itinerary for the Dec. 1 trip is:

• 8:45 a.m., Bus arrives at Smith Student Center.
• 9 a.m., Bus departs Smith Student Center.
• 11 a.m., Bus arrives at Notre Dame College.
• Noon, Kickoff.
• Conclusion of game (approximately 4 p.m.), Bus departs Notre Dame College.
• 6 p.m., Bus arrives at Smith Student Center.
