Poindexter named project manager for Pitt study

Marcus Poindexter, a 2007 Slippery Rock University graduate with a degree in community programs for Americans with disabilities, is the new project manager for the Partners for Healthy Community, a patient-centered outcomes research institute study conducted by the University of Pittsburgh's School of Health and Rehabilitation Science in collaboration with the Homewood YMCA.

In his role, Poindexter will engage the Homewood community to develop comparative effectiveness research questions that may help researchers and practitioners improve the health of Homewood residents.
