Shotwell’s article published in The American Biology Teacher

Mark Shotwell, a Slippery Rock University associate professor of biology, wrote an article that was published in the February issue of The American Biology Teacher, a peer-reviewed professional journal for K-12 and college biology teachers. Shotwell’s article, titled “The Misuse of Pedigree Analysis in the Eugenics Movement,” is about how analysis of human traits in families is misused in the field of eugenics, the pseudoscientific social movement with the aim of controlling human heredity.
