Barnett judges Festival of Media Arts competition

Brett Barnett, a Slippery Rock University professor of communication, served as a judge for the Festival of Media Arts Film and Video Competition, hosted by the Broadcast Education Association, an academic media professional organization.

The Festival of Media Arts is a competitive festival open to BEA faculty and student members. The 2019 winners were selected from a pool of more than 1,500 entries, representing more than 300 colleges and universities from various other competitions. Winners will be recognized at the BEA annual convention, April 8 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Barnett, who teaches video production and editing for video courses at SRU, is an expert in instructional approaches to teaching video production.
