Three Slippery Rock University art majors recently presented research about printmaking at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Mikaela Leonzio, a freshman from Pittsburgh, and Rachel Peterson, a sophomore from Russell, presented research about how botany influences printmaking, based on their collaborative project between classes of the same subject matter at SRU. Zachary Rutter, a senior from West Mifflin, presented his visual art history book project, and his handmade book was displayed at UCO's Melton Gallery.

Barbara Westman, SRU associate professor of art, accompanied the students to the conference.
