Ford named superintendent at Purchase Line

Shawn Ford, a 1989 Slippery Rock University graduate with a degree in secondary education, was recently hired as superintendent of Purchase Line School District in Commodore.

Ford spent the previous six years as the principal at Cochranton Elementary School in Crawford County, after serving as an administrator and teacher in the Crawford Central School District.

The Purchase Line School District serves more than 850 students in Indiana County and employs approximately 170 people.
