Thomas elected to PAEE board of directors

Becky Thomas, a Slippery Rock University assistant professor of parks, conservation and recreational therapy, was recently elected to the Pennsylvania Association of Environmental Educators board of directors as PAEE's Southwest Region director.

In Thomas' new role, she will serve as a liaison between PAEE and the environmental education field of practice in 11 southwestern Pennsylvania counties.

PAEE is a membership organization that aims to unite, support and empower environmental educators in Pennsylvania. PAEE's membership includes educators from nature centers, state agencies and nonprofits, as well as naturalists, college professors, school teachers and administrators and other industry professionals.
