Cooke coauthors encyclopedia for therapists

Colleen Cooke, a Slippery Rock University professor of parks, conservation and recreational therapy, has coauthored a book titled "The Fun Encyclopedia For Therapists: Proven Activities for Therapists."

In the book, Cooke and coauthor David Austin, professor emeritus of recreational therapy at Indiana University, Bloomington, describe activities and games that practitioners can use in a variety of settings with people of all ages and abilities. The activities in the book were designed to focus on specific goals and objectives for use as therapeutic tools.
