Ana María Caula, a Slippery Rock University professor of modern languages and cultures, was selected to serve as a peer reviewer for the 2021 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program.

The Fulbright Program awards approximately 8,000 grants annually, pairing highly qualified U.S. academics and professionals with host institutions abroad to share their expertise, strengthen institutional linkages, hone their skills, gain international experience and learn about other cultures.

Peer reviewers possess relevant discipline expertise and are asked to examine and evaluate Fulbright applicants’ academic or professional training, experience and achievements, as well as the merit of the applicants’ proposed activity.

Caula is an alumna of the Fulbright program, having been selected to travel to Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2017.
