Yamamoto co-authors Pennsylvania Language Forum article

Junko Yamamoto, a Slippery Rock University associate professor of secondary education and foundations of education, co-authored an article published in the Pennsylvania Language Forum, a publication of the Pennsylvania State Modern Language Association.

Yamamoto’s article, titled “Developing Group Intercultural Competence Through Cross-Cultural Comparisons,” addresses to importance of teaching students skills to help them analyze and understand why people from diverse cultures think and act differently. The three other co-authors each teach German, Spanish and French at Pennsylvania high schools.
