About Our Online Instruction Endorsement

Slippery Rock University’s Online Instruction Endorsement prepares certified educators to confidently deliver high-quality virtual learning. Fully online and approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, this 9-credit program is ideal for teachers looking to expand their skills beyond the traditional classroom. Through three graduate-level courses also applicable to SRU’s M.Ed. in Technology for Online Instruction you’ll gain the technical expertise and instructional strategies needed to reach and engage students in digital environments. To enroll, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and either an Instructional I or II Pennsylvania teaching certificate.

  • Official undergraduate degree transcript(s) and any graduate transcripts
  • A minimum of 2.75 cumulative GPA in undergraduate major
