Without you, the WOW Move-in Days and weekend of activities would not be successful. The incoming freshmen, transfers and their families are so amazed at the "WOW WELCOME" they receive and how easy it is to move in and get settled at THE ROCK!

Why volunteer for Move-in?
Facilitators will receive:
- Free early move-in on Wednesday, August 19th
- 1 meal ticket
- A cookout lunch
- A free WOW Volunteer t-shirt
Requirements for Move-in Volunteers:
- If you sign up to volunteer you must attend the student volunteer meeting on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 from 4-5 pm in the Smith Student Center Ballroom to pick up your t-shirt and receive assignment instructions.
- If moving in early, you must work 2 shifts
ANOTHER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY!
Step UP! is a bystander intervention program where first-year students learn to recognize potentially harmful situations and intervene safely through interactive discussions and activities. We are seeking engaged, responsible student leaders to guide these conversations and serve as positive role models for our newest students. By clicking on the sign-up form, you can see the variety of perks offered by presenting, including early arrival the day before move-in if you live in the residence halls.

Faculty/Staff Volunteer Registration
While move in this year will occur on one day only (Thursday, August 20, 2026), there are several opportunities for faculty and staff to volunteer on Thursday, Friday and Monday.
You must attend one of our faculty/staff volunteer meetings on August 13, 2026, 3:00-4:00 pm in Smith Student Center Room 321 OR Wednesday August 19, 2026, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm in the Smith Student Center Ballroom.
