About the Managememt Program

The Management program at SRU provides a strong business core and applied learning across key areas including accounting, finance, operations, marketing, international business, and human resources. Students also develop critical skills in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. Our curriculum blends theory with hands-on experiences to prepare students for professional success and ethical leadership across industries. You won’t just study business—you’ll gain experience through real-world projects and professors who know your name and care about your future.

What Can I Do With a Managememt Degree?

A Management degree opens doors to a wide range of careers—from running a business to leading teams in healthcare, technology, retail, and beyond. At SRU, you’ll gain the skills to lead, problem-solve, and make smart decisions—qualities that employers value in any industry. SRU’s Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Management prepares graduates for entry-level leadership roles in areas like human resources, small business operations, supply chain and logistics, marketing, and sales. Students learn to align people, strategy, and resources to achieve organizational goals. A concentration in Human Resources focuses on recruitment, training and development, compensation, and labor law. A concentration in Supply Chain Management emphasizes procurement, operations, logistics, and collaboration across business networks.

What I loved most about SRU was how welcoming and supportive the management faculty were. They truly cared about my success. My advisors were approachable and took the time to get to know me, which made classes more engaging.
