Intercollegiate Equestrian Club

Storm Harbor is home to the SRU English and Western Clubs. The Equestrian Clubs are a co-ed group of students who show in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) circuit. The clubs compete against other region 2, zone 5 Colleges and Universities in Hunter/Jumper Classes as well as Western Events.

The clubs are open to any student who is currently enrolled at Slippery Rock University. The SRU Equestrian Clubs do not discriminate based on age, gender, race, sexual orientation, or experience level. No horse experience necessary! All that we require is an interest in horses and an eagerness to become a member of a great club! Before working with the horses at Storm Harbor, club members are required to complete a set of Volunteer Forms for liability and safety reasons.
