Join us for a day of horseback riding and navigating through nature! Campers will spend the day at both the university's Storm Harbor Equestrian Center and the Robert A. Macoskey Center for Sustainability.
At the Equestrian Center: Campers will participate in a variety of activities throughout the day including horseback riding, grooming, games and a lot of fun, hands-on activities using our equines.
At the Robert A. Macoskey Center: Campers will learn to navigate through a natural forest by using a compass, map and a handheld GPS unit. Campers will learn to orient themselves and make their way throughout a course designed to teach the seven principals of Leave No Trace, an outdoor ethics program used throughout the US. Other programs may also be incorporated.
Camp is open to all teens between the ages of 13 and 16. Dates TBD. University employee discount: $40 per camper; otherwise, $50 per camper. To register your teen for camp, please contact us by phone or email for more information.
