Student Affairs

Your Dreams, Our Goals

Student Affairs

The departments that make up Student Affairs contribute to the development of the whole person by improving students' abilities to successfully manage challenges and by creating an environment in which students are likely to thrive, so that they are retained and graduate.  We accomplish this by:

  • Building and maintaining safe, inclusive, and healthy environments which allow students to thrive.
  • Assisting students with developing proactive strategies for avoiding and overcoming roadblocks so that they can reach their full potential.
  • Developing and supporting leaders who can advocate for and empower students toward success.

The faculty and staff of Student Affairs are hard-working professionals dedicated to helping students succeed at SRU and beyond.  We are proud to state that your dreams are our goals.

Student Affairs Diversity Statement

The division of Student Affairs at Slippery Rock is dedicated to creating an environment of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging which respects and nurtures the inherent uniqueness of all individuals within our campus community. We believe that by embracing the intersectionality of our campus community, we will create an atmosphere where students can thrive as their authentic selves, and empower them to pursue their personal, social, emotional, and intellectual development to their utmost potential.
