SRU is a great place to live and learn. Whether you're from a big city or a small town, SRU offers a close-knit community that feels like home. On-campus housing at SRU gives you a fun, friendly, and safe living environment - you know your neighbors, it's easy to get around, and you feel comfortable in your surroundings.

The housing application for new freshmen is now open. Once you complete your housing application and submit your $175 fee, the following day, check out  My College RoomieIf you are unable to submit the $175 for financial reasons, please contact

Living on campus is a huge part of the college experience. In the SRU Residence Halls, you'll enjoy meeting new people, discovering new places, getting involved, interacting with faculty and staff, and playing pool or hanging with friends in the lounge. You'll feel a true sense of belonging and community with your fellow students as you live, learn, and grow together. You'll also make memories that will last a lifetime.

  • Recreational facilities including a fitness (cardio and weight) room, indoor pool, track, basketball and racquetball courts, and more

SRU Residence Halls offer a number of comfortable living options-including two and four-person suites with private bedrooms and bathrooms. Our halls are safe and secure, with locked doors, ID access, video security systems, and friendly on-site Residence Life staff. You also get great perks like:

Please visit AVI Food Services to review our meal plan structure and pricing from 2020-2021.  Students residing in on-campus housing (except Rock Apartments) will be assigned automatically to the default meal plan #12 (12 meals per week with $445 in flex funds).  Off-campus and Rock Apartments residents may sign up for a meal plan beginning on July 1, 2020.  All students are permitted to make one change per semester to their meal plan.  The change period is scheduled to begin on July 1, 2020, and end on Sunday, August 30, 2020.    Dining services is following all relevant guidance from the Centers for Disease Control, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and local health officials in preparation for the academic year.  Locations and operating hours are subject to change due to changing conditions related to Covid-19.
