wilma j. cavill '52 endowed scholarship
Applicant must be a full time student majoring in Safety Management, a Pennsylvania resident, maintain a 3.25 GPA, and have financial need. First preference will be given to a female. The award amount varies.
John Garber Memorial Outstanding Senior Safety Management Major Award
Must be a rising senior safety management major with 3.2 cumulative GPA. Essay and resume required regarding service to university, community, and major along with academic achievements. Award is up to $1,000.
Interstate Chemical Company Scholarship
Applicant must be Safety Management major. The amount is up to $1,000.
Kyle S. McFeely Safety Scholarship
Applicant must demonstrate classroom integrity, innovation, initiative, adaptability, respect and teamwork. Must possess a strong classroom attendance record and positive demeanor in the classroom. Must portray an extremely positive image that represents a future Safety professional. Must be a junior Safety major with financial need entering the senior year. The amount is up to $1,000.
Jairus j. moore diversity, inclusion and safety scholarship
Applicant must be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior Safety Management Major with financial need. First preference will be given to a minority student. An essay will be required on "How to create a more diverse work culture." The award amount is up to $500.
Daniel M. Renz Safety Scholarship
Applicants must be a full-time junior or senior Safety Management Major. The student must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and write a 250-500 word essay on the topic "why did you choose the Safety Management Major and in what industry(ies) do you have an interest?". The award amount is $500 and the scholarship recipient will be selected by the Safety Management Department Faculty.
Anastasia Urbanik Women's Leadership Scholarship
Applicants must be full-time Safety Management majors. Students must also be rising juniors/seniors for the upcoming academic year. Applicants must be out-of-state residents with a minimum 3.5 GPA. First preference given to females who want a career in construction safety and are involved with extracurricular activities and demonstrates campus leadership. The award amount is up to $1,250.
Vickie Weber '97 Safety Management Scholarship
Applicant must be a sophomore, junior, or senior Safety Management major with financial need. The student must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and the student must submit a short essay briefly explaining their financial need. The award amount is $1000.
