Due to the generosity of many individuals and corporations, new scholarship opportunities are established on an ongoing basis. Please note that scholarship information listed on these pages including requirements, descriptions and amounts is subject to change without notice. Slippery Rock University specifically reserves the right and authority to alter and amend any and all information contained on these pages. The Paul and Carolyn Rizza Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is for juniors in any undergraduate SRU major. The applicant must be involved in the barn, either as a volunteer or for work, and have a vested interest in the program.  In order to apply, submit an essay to stormharbor@sru.edu describing your involvement at the Storm Harbor equestrian center including how you have helped the center in your freshman and sophomore year at Slippery Rock University and how do you feel the center contributes to others and the community? SGA Endowed Scholarship

The SGA Endowed Scholarship was established by Slippery Rock University's Student Government Association to provide financial aid to undergraduate students at Slippery Rock University. Applicants must be full-time students who have attended SRU for at least two semesters. Applicants must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA as well as demonstrate engagement at the University through campus activities, work study positions, research, leadership roles on campus, participation in student clubs or organizations, athletics, etc. The deadline is June 30th. SGA Scholarship Application

John J. Press Scholarship

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student at SRU with a minimum 2.0 GPA to be considered. First preference will be given to students from Oswayo Valley Jr./Sr. High School, and to students who self-identify as members of the LGBTQIA+ community or as allies.
