Need help narrowing down a major? Writing a resume? Finding an internship? Applying to graduate school? Changing careers? Practicing for the interview?

We have compiled some great resources for information, examples and web tools to help you with your pursuit of a career that aligns with who you are, what you can do, and who you want to become. But don't forget we are here for you too!

The Career Education & Development office is open 8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday and located in 108 Bailey Library. Stop by the office or call 724.738.2028 today to schedule your next appointment! Appointments can also be scheduled through SRU's HANDSHAKE.

For Fall 2020, out of an abundance of caution for our students, staff, faculty, and community the Career Education office will only be conducting virtual appointments and presentations.  Although it is helpful to be together, the Career Education office has been conducting virtual appointments for years and is well prepared to meet your career needs, answer questions, and connect you with resources and employers.

Making a great career decision also comes from knowing the current hiring trends both in our region, state, and nation. Our office surveys new graduates to determine how many were employed full-time, part-time, or attended graduate school.  The 2017 Annual Report for the Career Education & Development office is an overview of December 2015, May 2016, and August 2016 graduates as well as the office's appointment and programming outcomes for the 2016-2017 academic year.  In 2017 & 2018, a new process for gathering new graduate employment data was instituted so the next available report will be July 2019.
