SRU academic programs rack up honors from Intelligent.com

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — Slippery Rock University has had 18 academic programs recognized by Intelligent.com for providing excellence in curriculum quality, graduation rate, reputation and graduate employment.

Intelligent.com provides "unbiased research to help students make informed decisions about higher education programs."

Of the SRU programs ranked by the website, 15 finished ranked in the top 10 of their respective areas of study. In addition to academic programming, SRU was also recognized as one of Pennsylvania's top colleges (No. 16), one of the country's most affordable universities (No. 47) and as a most affordable college for master's degree programming (No. 45).

Intelligent.com's rankings are based on an assessment of more than 2,200 accredited colleges and universities across the nation.
