SRU’s C2AC hosting second Cyberspace Event, April 30

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — Slippery Rock University's Center for Cybersecurity and Advanced Computing will host its second Cyberspace Event, 12:30-2:30 p.m., April 30, at the Advanced Technology and Science Hall, Room 142.

The campuswide, collaborative event will feature students from multiple departments presenting case scenarios, software demonstrations and applications related to cybersecurity.

William Behre, SRU president, and Jerry Chmielewski, dean of the College of Health, Environmental and Sciences, will offer opening remarks, followed by "Lightning Talks" with presentations by students on topics ranging from wireless drone hacking and emotion sensing software, to the cybersecurity of high-performance computing clusters that use augmented reality.

The C2AC hosted its first Cyberspace Event in December.
