The Princeton Review ratings are based on scores from 60 to 99 in eight categories that come from surveys of administrators at the schools who annually provide institutional data. Schools are grouped into seven zones -- Northeast, South, Southwest, Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, West and International.

SRU was one of only 96 colleges and universities listed in the Mid-Atlantic region consisting of five states -- Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia -- and the District of Columbia. The schools in each region are listed in alphabetical order by school name, not by ranking.

The Princeton Review is a tutoring, test prep and college admission services company and is not affiliated with Princeton University. The complete listing of the "Best Mid-Atlantic" institutions is available on the Princeton Review website.
