SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — Just because winter is a time when the temperature drops, doesn't mean students' progress toward a degree has to freeze. Slippery Rock University is offering undergraduate and graduate-level courses during its Winter Session, Dec. 15, 2021, to Jan. 6, 2022.

The Winter Session is a popular option for SRU students who need to get back on track or to get ahead of their schedule to graduate," said Amanda Yale, chief enrollment officer. "Especially with all classes during this session being offered online, we engage students to 'take The Rock home with you,' and this is a convenient way for students to obtain a high-quality education, remain in or join the SRU community and put themselves in a position to succeed.

Approximately 1,800 students are expected to enroll in nearly 150 classes for the upcoming Winter Session. Registration for Winter Session begins Nov. 8 for SRU students and Nov. 22 for students from other institutions, who, with permission, may transfer earned credits to their home institution. First-year and transfer students who had planned to start their SRU experience in the spring semester are also eligible to enroll in the Winter Session.

SRU students received an email today, Oct. 22, with instructions on how to register for classes.
