Strahler earns Campus Compact Community Partnerships credentia

Doug Strahler, a Slippery Rock University associate professor of strategic communication and media, earned his third Campus Compact Community Engagement Professional credential.

Strahler was awarded the "Community Partnerships" credential in December, adding to his “Community Engagement Fundamentals” and “Supporting Engaged Faculty Development” credentials. Materials submitted for the credential program are reviewed by a panel of trained peer reviewers.

Campus Compact is an organization that provides civic and community engagement professionals with opportunities to earn formal recognition for the knowledge and skills they develop throughout their careers. Campus Compact’s digital certifications recognize an individual’s competency in a specific area of higher education community engagement practice in a manner characterized by equity and integrity.
