Eaton-Stull honored, presents with students at Forensic Rights and Treatment Conference

Yvonne Eaton-Stull, a Slippery Rock University assistant professor of public health and social work, received the Leadership Award at the 2019 Pennsylvania Forensic Rights and Treatment Conference last month in Harrisburg.

Eaton-Stull received the award for her leadership with animal-assisted interventions, scholarly work and innovative accomplishments working with the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.

Also at the conference, Eaton-Stull presented research with two SRU students, Janel Jones, a senior dual criminology/criminal justice and social work major from Pittsburgh, and Francine Lilien, a junior social work major from Pittsburgh. The SRU researchers' presentation was titled "Grief Support Groups With and Without Therapy Dogs for Incarcerated Women."
