Sobolak’s article published in Literacy Today

Lisa Sobolak, a 2019 Slippery Rock University graduate with a master’s degree in education, wrote an article that was published in Literacy Today based on an assignment conducted when she was an SRU student. Sobolak’s article, titled “A Shift in Learning,” appeared in the January/February 2021 issue of Literacy Today, a bimonthly magazine published for members of the International Literacy Association, which is a nonprofit that supports educators make literacy accessible for all. The article applies Sobolak’s research about meeting the needs of learners through individualized activities and inclusive groupings. Sobolak is a K-8 reading specialist for the Souderton Charter School Collaborative.
