SRU faculty contribute to book about international education experiences

Two Slippery Rock University professors recently edited a book that was published about international education experiences and included chapters contributed by other SRU faculty members.

Sara Tours, associate professor of elementary education and early childhood, and Jeremy Lynch, professor of special education, co-edited the book, “Developing Effective International Education Experiences: Preparing Pre-Service Teachers for the Classroom,” published by Vernon Press.

In addition to Tours and Lynch, SRU faculty who wrote chapters include: Alessia Zanin-Yost, assistant professor of library systems; Marnie Petray-Covey, associate professor of languages, literatures, cultures, and writing; Gisela Dieter, associate professor of languages, literatures, cultures, and writing; Laura Strong, instructor of elementary education and early childhood; Molly Mistretta, assistant professor of counseling and development; Jessica Hall-Wirth, associate professor of special education; Mark Hogue, associate professor of secondary education and foundations of education; and Amy Orville, instructor of elementary education and early childhood.
