Belcastro appointed to Maryland General Assembly

Lisa Belcastro, a 2012 Slippery Rock University graduate with a degree in health and physical education, was recently appointed by Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan to fill a legislative vacancy representing parts of Baltimore County in the Maryland General Assembly.

Belcastro received the recommendation for the seat by the Baltimore County Democratic Central Committee. Belcastro works for Prince George's County Public Schools as an adapted physical education teacher and is also as an aide for Baltimore County Councilman Israel Patoka.
