Yamamoto presents at IUP foreign language teaching conference

Junko Yamamoto, a Slippery Rock University associate professor of secondary education and foundations of education delivered a presentation at Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Spring Methodology Conference on Foreign Language Teaching. Yamamoto’s presentation, titled “Be the learner during TPRS demonstration and monitor what facilitates your language acquisition,” was about Total Physical Response Story Telling, a method in which students physically respond and answer questions during storytelling. The conference, conducted virtually this year, was for high school and college teachers of French, German, Spanish and Mandarin.
