Three SRU students selected for NFA Collegiate Flute Choir

Three Slippery Rock University students were selected to perform at the National Flute Association's 2021 convention as members of the Collegiate Flute Choir.

Nikki Kammer, a senior music performance major from Freedom; Samantha Kochis, a senior music education major from Cranberry Township; and Frances Orteza, a senior music education major from Sharon, will perform at the NFA convention, Aug 12-15, 2021. Selected by NFA judges, participants must be NFA members and full-time undergraduate college students at the time of submitting recordings of their performances.

The NFA is the largest flute organization in the world with approximately 5,000 members from more than 50 countries.
