Krauss appointed director of health district in Connecticut

Aimee Krauss, a 2000 Slippery Rock University graduate with a degree in therapeutic recreation, was appointed director of health for the West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District in Connecticut.

The West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District is a regional health department serving the towns of West Hartford and Bloomfield. The district provides full-time professional public health services to more than 84,000 residents and is governed by an eight-member board of directors appointed by the elected officials of the member towns.

Krauss was previously the district's acting director and assistant director.
