Champion awarded NEACJS Founders Award

David Champion, Slippery Rock University professor of criminology and security studies, has been announced as the winner of the 2018 Northeastern Association of Criminal Justice Sciences Founders Award.

Presented annually, the award recognizes active NEACJS members who have made service contributions to the association that are considerable and meaningful. Champion, an NEACJS member since 1998, will be presented with the award at the association's annual conference in June.

NEACJS, a regional affiliation of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences, is an organization of scholars and criminal justice practitioners dedicated to improving scholarship, service and practice in criminal justice.
