SRU faculty-student group presents animal-assisted workshop

Yvonne Eaton-Stull, a Slippery Rock University assistant professor of public health and social work, presented with two students and her therapy dog, Chevy, at the National Association of Social Workers, Pennsylvania Chapter Annual Conference last month in Pocono Manor.

Eaton-Stull; Kaylee Noah, a senior social work major from Slippery Rock; and Genevieve Zajac, a senior social work major from Lancaster, New York, presented a workshop, titled "Doggone Great Groups," about developing creative animal-assisted group interventions.
