Pounds named VP of clinical operations at NSU

Leonard Pounds, a 2008 Slippery Rock University graduate with a degree in information technology, was recently named the vice president of clinical operations at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

In his new role, Pounds oversees all clinic operations to enhance the patient experience at NSU's 39 health care centers where 220,000 patients visit annually. Pounds also works closely with NSU's deans to strengthen academic programs and ensure that research opportunities are readily available for all academic centers.

Pounds joined NSU in 2007 and served in various roles in the Office of Innovation and Information Technology. He was previously the deputy chief information officer.
