Advancement Services
Advancement Services addresses the "back office" aspects of fundraising. Its role is to:
- Acquire and maintain information relevant to Slippery Rock University cultivation and solicitation activities
- Maintain information on alumni, parents, donors, and friends
- Manage the alumni development database
- Survey, research, and identify donor prospects
- Provide statistical, demographic, and financial reports to authorized departments and individuals
- Assist departments campus-wide with information needs through the distribution of lists, labels, and reports
- Curate mass emails sent to alumni, friends, donors and staff
- Maintain websites for the SRU Foundation and SRU Alumni Association
- Host online event registrations and donation pages for various departments, primarily Advancement-related
