A nurse educator for 18 years, Sandra Leh earned a Diploma in Nursing from Abington Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Penn State University, a Master of Science in Community Health Nursing from West Chester University and a PhD in Nursing Education from Widener University. She also maintains certification as a nurse educator. Her past clinical practice included emergency department nursing, maternal-child and adult home care, and school nursing.
She is a member of Theta Rho Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) Nursing Honor Society and the Association of Community Health Nurse Educators (ACHNE).
Dr. Leh is a published author and has lectured regionally, nationally, and internationally. Her research interests focus on nursing education and the role of the nurse in establishing and sustaining community health and well-being including global health and care of vulnerable populations. She has been instrumental in establishing a number of nurse-faculty international partnerships.
