Would you love to become a scuba instructor in a tropical paradise? Have you ever imagined yourself saving lives in an aquatic environment or instructing others how to do so? Does a career in coaching appeal to you? At SRU, the aquatics program offers training and certification that will prepare you for any one of those careers. Aquatics specialists are in demand and SRU can prepare you for a fantastic and rewarding career.

The minor in Aquatics consists of a minimum of 19 hours of coursework in aquatic fundamentals, risk management, lifeguarding, swimming instruction, leadership, or aquatic adventure sports.
