Patch named CEO of Stamford YMCA

Shawn Patch, a 1997 Slippery Rock University graduate with a degree in recreation, was named chief executive officer of the Stamford Family YMCA in Stamford, Connecticut.

In his new role, Patch will be responsible for leading the YMCA's fundraising initiatives, staff development, membership increase and working to continue to develop youth and family programming. The Stamford Family YMCA employs 10 full-time directors and more than 100 part-time staff, which serve the more than 2,000 members and 3,500 community members who use the facility.

Patch has 28 years of experience working with non-profit organizations, including the last eight years as CEO of the Upper Pee Dee/Sumter Family YMCA in South Carolina.
