About Our Coaching and Officiating: Lifelong Wellness through Innovative Leadership Program
Slippery Rock University’s M.S. in Lifelong Wellness through Innovative Leadership empowers educators and professionals to lead wellness-focused changes across schools, communities, and organizations. This fully online program emphasizes practical, innovative strategies to support physical and holistic well-being across the lifespan. Choose from two specialized concentrations, Coaching and Officiating or School Wellness Education, and prepare to make a lasting impact on the lives of those you serve.
The Coaching and Officiating concentration is for professionals seeking leadership roles in coaching and sport officiating across diverse competitive levels. Students participate in project-based and hands-on learning experiences that foster critical reflection, effective communication, and practical decision-making skills. Graduates are prepared to lead, mentor, and assess athletes, officials, and sport programs across educational, community, and competitive sport settings, with the knowledge and confidence to make meaningful contributions in the field.
