Technology Business Continuity

In October 2021 the President’s Cabinet approved a telecommuting policy for AFSCME, SCUPA and non-represented employees. This policy provides for hybrid work schedules as well as ad-hoc remote work on an as-needed basis. The new policy will allow for increased flexibility while maintaining the services our workforce provides to its students and customers.

Additionally, in the event of a university closure or extended absence, it is important to make the appropriate preparations.  The following information is also intended to provide the recommended tools for business continuity during such interruptions.

The first step in preparing is to properly maintain your SRU user name and password.  Please be sure to set up your Password Recovery Tool to ensure continuous access should you forget your password or your password expires.
