Peer Academic Coaching (PAC)

WHAT IS PEER ACADEMIC COACHING?

Peer Academic Coaching provides individual peer coaching to students on topics of general study strategies, effective learning techniques, online learning strategies, exam preparation, and time management. Peer Academic Coaching typically occurs on a weekly basis between undergraduate students and an undergraduate Peer Academic Coach.

Do you love learning? Do you care about helping others? Being a Peer Academic Coaches involves coaching your peers on fundamental academic skills that will help them be successful in college. Our Peer Academic Coaches experience the benefits of developing new academic skills and knowledge of cognitive science/learning practices, strengthening their communication and problem-solving skills, increasing their leadership and team-building abilities, and receiving direct supervision and mentorship from professional staff on a weekly basis.
