Slippery Rock University RN to BSN Nursing Program is an online program designed to build on the Associate Degree or Diploma education of RNs with an emphasis on evidence-based decision making, leadership, and use of information technology. Students receive a strong educational foundation for future graduate study.
The program can be completed as a full-time or part-time student, at a pace that is comfortable for the individual student. The curriculum consists of 30 credits - 7 mandatory core nursing courses, 1 nursing elective, and 2 support courses. (Statistics for the Social Sciences and Medical Health Care Ethics). A practice experience (90 clinical hours) with a preceptor in the student's geographic location is included in this coursework.
